Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Global HR Integration Strategy Leader for Gallagher Benefit Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all people- and culture-related merger and acquisition (M&A) activities from due diligence to integration within GBS’ global division. This global, client-facing role requires a strong understanding of the insurance industry, exceptional client service and project management skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate within and across functions and divisions as needed.
How you'll make an impact
1. Lead and manage cross-functional teams involved in the due diligence, close and integration processes, including representatives from the GBS Integration Management Office, finance, operations, IT, legal, communications/change, compliance and HR.
2. Lead and manage the due diligence process for potential M&A opportunities, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and evaluation of strategic fit.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze relevant data, financial statements, contracts, and other documents required for due diligence.
4. Ensure a thorough due diligence has been conducted so potential risks are identified, synergies can be achieved, and an appropriate integration plan can be developed.
5. Coordinates and prepares the final draft of the due diligence report and board report (if applicable)
6. Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring smooth transition and alignment with the company's strategic, cultural and people objectives.
7. Collaborate with senior leadership to define transition strategies, goals, and timelines.
8. Coordinate and facilitate transition and integration meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between all stakeholders.
9. Develop and implement both global and country-specific integration playbooks, tools, and templates to streamline the integration process across the division.
10. Monitor and track integration progress, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks that may arise.
11. Manage post-integration activities, including monitoring performance metrics, conducting post-merger reviews, and implementing corrective actions if necessary.
12. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of integration projects.
13. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to M&A integration in the insurance sector.
14. Ensure adherence to local employment laws and regulations in all operating countries, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
15. Facilitate cross-cultural understanding and adapt HR practices to different regional contexts while maintaining Gallagher’s core values.
About You
Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification such as GPHR, SPHR or PMP is preferred.
2. Extensive experience in HR leadership roles with a proven track record of managing cross-functional and/or cross-divisional projects.
3. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in M&A integration, preferably within the insurance industry or related financial services sector.
4. Expertise in change management methodologies
5. Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage operations, products, and regulatory requirements.
6. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex integration projects.
7. Willingness to travel as required to support integration activities.
8. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant tools.
9. Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook plus prior experience completing transactions in HR Systems.

1. Proven ability to analyze data, with a keen attention to detail, to develop strategic insights and solve problems.
2. Track record of utilizing strategies and leadership skills to influence outcomes, deliver results and work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders.
3. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
5. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
