Overview

The Art Director plays a key role in the Art Department, Gallagher’s in-house creative team supporting Marketing and Communications creative. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, Americas, this role ensures visual concepts align with project goals, strengthening the brand and driving marketing results.


How you'll make an impact

  • Designs external-facing marketing campaigns and assets, including print, video and digital executions; other campaign collateral; and internal and external corporate materials based on brand guidelines and input from a creative brief and communications directly with the client.
  • Delegates duties among team members, and approves all final materials produced by the team.
  • Efficiently communicates with team members to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Ensures a creative consistent look and feel that adheres to and supports brand, visual, and messaging standards.
  • Leads the creation of presentations, interacts with internal clients, and ensures successful representation of the Gallagher brand.
  • Leverages workflow management software and established procedures and timelines for projects assigned to them and their assigned team.
  • Utilizes digital asset manager, and stock photography subscription to source appropriate photography and assets that align to brand guidelines.
  • Ensures all work produced is error-free, accurate, technically correct, high quality, and ready to hand off to studio team for release.

About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required.
  • Knowledge of current graphic design equipment, tools, and techniques required.

Highly Preferred:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design or similar is required.
  • 7 years of related work experience, supporting clients in a high-traffic design environment preferably in an advertising agency (or an advertising agency-like environment) servicing multiple internal or external clients.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) is required.
  • B2B Marketing experience
  • Lead generation campaign experience
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles
  • Understanding of video/motion graphics production
